I’m so excited about the Living with Soul workshop. It’s my first opportunity since the opening of MICH as a school in 2005 to offer training open to everyone, and not exclusive to students enrolled in our 3-year programs.
During the last decade, MICH has developed and elaborated therapeutic approaches to optimize the best-researched, most-used, and most-individualized form of immaterial Western medicine: homeopathy. Our experience, and that of other homeopaths and researchers proves that Homeopathy is the perfect vehicle to address the dynamic movement of the vital force and its effects on all dimensions of well-being: physical, mental-emotional and spiritual, happiness, wholeness, meaningfulness, adaptability and vitality.
MICH’s homeopathic exploration and study of the subtle levels of the vital force via homeopathy brought us to consider the “soul” as described by Plato, Aristotle, and others. We now understand the soul, with its unique expression in every individual, as the spiritual organ, the receptive vessel, receiving the impulse of life flowing in from the infinite creative force, and channelling it into the organism. With this deeper understanding, we are better able to effectively apply the insights of the master homeopaths. We can explore with our clients the many ways the ego, or the idea of self, can impede, distort, or deter the natural or perhaps more accurately, the supernatural flow of the life force and lead to stress, suffering and dis-ease.
The receptivity to the life impulse is the domain of homeopathy. Homeopathy works at the very entrance of the influx. Homeopathy opens the receptors to the immaterial influx, influencing our ability to be open to, receive and be infused by the influx of life. Homeopathy works at the boundary between the individual and the all.
In other words, homeopathy can attune the organism to its environment on all levels, right up to the most subtle immaterial dimension or implicate order as defined by physicist David Bohm.
Because Homeopathy works on the boundary between the individual and the all, it facilitates the adaptation of the organism to its environment, and the immaterial dimension of being, evoking evolutionary measures when necessary.
Chinese Medicine, especially acupuncture and Ayurveda work on establishing an equilibrium of the vital force internally. Yoga and Chi Kung do so as well, having the ability to add the extra dimension of cosmic flow. Homeopathy brings this dimension of healing deeper, increasing the individual’s capacity to receive on a spiritual level.
We often witness changes in the perception of individuals after homeopathic intervention. They “take in” the world in an expanded, open way. They access a “supra-rational” or contemplative perspective that provides a non-dual worldview and presence.
If you are a homeopath, you might be interested in reading or downloading the presentation I made at the Canadian Homeopathic Conference 2014, OR click here to watch the recording to better understand the link between this workshop and homeopathic case taking and addressing of chronic disease.
