The MICH Homeopathic Approach to Trauma
- Adam Fiore, DHOM, N.D., DHP
Trauma, Case-Taking & Unicist Prescribing
In this presentation focused on trauma, Adam Fiore, MICH teacher and clinical supervisor, shares insights and some of the fine details of the art of case-taking at MICH.
Unicist case taking, and most contemporary homeopathic approaches, including the method taught at MICH, lead to a deep and thorough exploration of a patient’s inner landscape, including un-integrated life experiences. Often we are touching on frozen and stuck experiences, sometimes referred to as inner wounds, and these experiences still need care, there can be emotional pain held at the level of the body, and somatic energetic states and sensations that benefit from not only homeopathic presence and awareness but as homeopaths have known from the start, the homeopathic simillimum to release the vital force’s full healing capacities. This in turn, liberates the conscious awareness of the patient and they can move forward in their lives with hope, optimism and a renewed sense of purpose and meaning.
In this audio presentation, Adam explains how to work with vulnerability, trauma, wounding within unicist prescribing, and how important it is to know how to support such clients to ‘feel’, and what language leads to the vital sensation. He also covers important topics such as spiritual bypassing, maturing and using homeopathy for spiritual growth, and highlights the particular usefulness of the Bird remedies and the Caryophyllidae plants in this context.
The topics covered are:
- Trauma, Delusion level
- Opportunities and challenges

What our Students Tell Us
With each exercise and mentorship session, I continue to gain new insight regarding how I move through life. Collectively, these experiences have offered glimpses into what
true acceptance feels like (pretty amazing). I am truly grateful to the entire MICH community for helping me to see that I was actually resisting sacredness through expectation. I am very much looking forward to continuing the journey with you all!
